Code Red Intervention
A focused 12-week intervention program for young people facing school, behavior, attendance, court, or life challenges.
How the program works
A structured reset for students who need support now.
Each student is paired with consistent mentor support and guided through an individual turnaround process. The program works with the young person and family to identify barriers, restore accountability, and build a practical plan forward.
Weekly mentoring, check-ins, and accountability goals.
Better decision-making, emotional control, and communication.
Family involvement and connections to additional support when needed.
The 12-week journey
Learn it. Practice it. Live it.
Each stage builds on the one before it. Students participate in mentor-led discussions, practical activities, reflection, accountability, and goal setting.
Assess & Stabilize
Build trust, understand the student’s challenges, identify strengths, and establish immediate goals and expectations.
Accountability & Choices
Practice responsible decision-making, emotional regulation, communication, conflict resolution, and ownership.
Purpose & Performance
Strengthen school engagement, routines, confidence, leadership habits, and a positive peer and mentor network.
Turnaround Plan
Complete a personal plan for continued progress, demonstrate growth, prepare a presentation, and get ready to graduate.
The finish line is a new beginning
Graduation celebrates transformation.
Students complete the program by presenting their turnaround plan and receiving an AYOA certificate that recognizes their progress, responsibility, and commitment to a better direction.
Families, mentors, and community partners are invited to recognize each graduate’s commitment and encourage the next chapter.
